The need of scientist is increasingly increased within last decade to give bridge between bench and beside technical gap. Medical Scientist Training Programs are a combination between M. D. and Ph.D. graduate degree programs. There are only several numbers of medical schools in United States which offer the programs. They get financial support to operate the program from the NIGMS or National Institute of General Medical Sciences. They who can enter the program are not ordinary students because their success to take the program shows that they have produced strong research experience. Choosing M.D-Ph.D Programs is not as easy as you thought. Even the number of universities and institutes that offer the program is not too many, but choosing one the best among them is not an easy matter.
